the story

C.H. McLean organized the McLean Motor Car Company having the Chamber of Commerce as a temporary address(care of) and later leased a plant at 3565 24th Street to "serve as an experimental station".  He announced that he would manufacture a "new type of automobile" in the spring of 1924 but it appears that is as far as the idea went.
